A QUICK TOUR OF THE GROUNDS
The private walk, which was once the old S.M.J railway of the Edwardian era, covering 3.5 acres spans ½ mile from East to West.
( At the entrance gate turn left )
This walk crosses a local right of way (accessed via a stile) and continues on to a lovely picnic area situated on an embankment overlooking the surrounding countryside. For the Bird watchers, a pair of Buzzards have nested in an Ash Tree opposite and can usually be observed during the breeding season.
At the stile you can take a right of way to the local pub and the villages of Temple Grafton and Ardens Grafton.
